Students from all areas of education within the UK are eligible, not just from wealthy backgrounds. The scheme hope to target an even playing field for all students, despite the level of difference found in their financial capabilities, or their background.
So far, the Scheme has been widely heralded as the coming of age for UK Student Mobility. Initially, there were concerns when the government selected to removed the UK from the Erasmus Programme. However, with more details emerging about how the Scheme will benefit students, the attitudes have changed to a more positive outlook for student mobility among british students.
It is estimated that the scheme will cost £110 Millon for the 35,000 students expected to benefit.
